Wow. 50 years. Remember actually going up to Cooper the summer before it opened and walking the halls, checking out the gym and the pool and the round hall construction of the class rooms and thinking this is cool but we are splitting up teams and team-mates that have played together for years. Wonder how many championships in all sports we could have won if we had stayed together. The new school was nice in many ways but the separation was tough on many of us who looked forward to being Robins and wearing the blue and gold only to have to play against our friends as Hawks wearing the Burnt Orange and Navy Blue.
Now together again. Great idea!
