Enjoyed being the last class, I believe, to graduate in the gym. I had a great time at Cooper and especially appreciated being in the main band and marching band. I had fun in chess club, too! High school seems like another life after so many years, but there are still fond memories there from the time the student band threw a tuba in the orchestra pit as a show stopper during a concert, the playing of the Chicago fire piece with two fire extinguishers adding smoke to the auditorium, my great math teachers, and the the interesting year with modular scheduling. The marching band contests were always great trips, too. I still play trombone and am a teacher. Glad to see Cooper is still going!
