I'll never forget Cooper High and all the wonderful people I met and life-long friends I made. This life has been an awesome ride (thought I'd say adventure didn't you) and I wouldn't change a thing. My life in public service has been often times frustrating, but always rewarding. Who would have thought after the sweeping advances in civil rights in the 70's and since that my life in civil rights and equal opportunity would still exist. But, alas, there it is.

I don't get back to Minnesota often but it's great to see everyone when I do. I hope to see you all soon.
